My Bio
I am a sophomore at the University of Maine at Augusta. I was majoring in Fine Art with a concentration in Photography, but some recent changes in my life and thinking has caused me to switch my degree to Mental Health and Human Services, minor Addiction Counseling.
I still continue to take photos quite often and will try to keep this page as updated as possible. I mostly enjoy doing nature photography as well as small children and animals. I live in a small town in Maine which gives me the opportunity to take photos of every season and I love every minute of it.
Photography is a hobby for me and not a career but if I get a request to take senior, family, or wedding photos I will try my best to fit it into my schedule! If you are in the area and would like to schedule a shoot please feel free to email me:

So I'm super excited by the fact that by tomorrow I'll have in my grasp a marvelous camera :D Okay, so it's not actually MY camera. It's my aunts. But she's letting me get to know the controls because in June I'll be the photographer for my grandparents 50th anniversary party. And since I have a shitty camera, she's letting me use hers :)
In conclusion, for those of you whole actually bother to read this, be expecting some new pictures up within the next couple of weeks. After the anniversary party, I may put up those pictures but I'm not sure yet. So keep an eye out :)

So right now I'm slightly frustrated at the fact that, put quite simply -- I have a shitty camera. Yes, a Nikon Coolpix L12 is a good camera...for the average person taking the average picture. But I want something more, considering my future career choice is to be a photographer. I'd really like something along the lines of a Canon Rebel or a Nikon of some make/model. But it's quite annoying since I'm sixteen and jobless. Nevertheless, I'm saving up to purchase one of these bad boys hopefully sometime in the near future.
